Our Winery and Philosophy
Our new tasting room is nestled in the heart of the Flint Hills along the Rock Creek Valley. We value the agricultural and cultural heritage of this area which was settled by German immigrants in the 1840s. We are also near the Oregon Trail (explore related sites in Westmoreland, KS) which acted as a highway for one of the largest western migrations in U.S. history.
Our wines are all made from grapes grown in our vineyard or sourced locally from other area vineyards. We take great care in growing our own grapes, harvesting by hand, and nursing them along the process to make our Kansas wines. Although these hybrid grapes may be unfamiliar to you, the wine produced from them is enjoyable and runs the gamut from berry and stone fruits to citrus and tropical in flavor.
